Bobbie

Bobbie is originally from Alabama. As a child, she was only able to attend school until sixth grade. She didn’t have the opportunity to continue her education beyond that because she had to help at home. She came to the Literacy Program in 2007 to pursue her education.

Bobbie is an engaged and enthusiastic student who has enrolled herself in many classes. She completed almost 900 hours of instruction in her first 15 months in the program and remains motivated to improve her reading, writing, and math skills.
