Amber

Amber was a special education student who struggled to finish high school despite many barriers. She is motivated to continue to improve her literacy skills and has been working with a tutor at LV-Gloucester for a number of years. This past year, she has been working on improving her reading and vocabulary. She also has been working on her math skills so that she can perform well at her job selling Tupperware. She has become very efficient at filling out order forms, performing basic addition and subtraction and calculating state sales tax. Amber is a highly motivated student who is determined to make a better life for herself. She pushes herself to keep learning so she can accomplish her goals.
