Henry Goldsmith receives International Service Award

LVNJ Board President Henry Goldsmith was recognized by the Rotary Club of Atlantic City with their International Service Award. He was honored at their event on May 12, 2009 for demonstrating exemplary service to the community. Henry has served on both the boards of LV-Cape-Atlantic Counties and LVNJ, where he has been president for the past two years. Henry is truly deserving of this honor for his commitment to service and his leadership. Congratulations!
Verizon Awards LVNJ $25,000 to Support Computer Literacy.
Wal-Mart Funds LVNJ's Health Literacy Initiative
LVNJ has received a $15,000 grant from the Wal-Mart State Giving Grant program. These funds will be used to support our Health Literacy Initiative, which is designed to raise awareness about the impact of low health literacy on individuals and the health care system.
