Comments: Log on and Learn
I couldn't wait to apply the techniques suggested during your presentation, mainly using the computer as a learning/teaching tool. The session was tailor-made for a situation I have with a student who only wants to learn to read so he can pass the driver's license exam. But I want him to reach higher. The manual that you passed out is so much easier to read than those thick manuals. I will take a three pronged approach with my student, hopefully simultaneously: Learn computer basics, learn to read, study for the exam on-line. I have an extra laptop which I will bring to class for his use. Thanks for a great session.
