How to Speak American English:
Pronunciation, Stress and Intonation
This workshop is for both basic literacy and ESL tutors who want to help their students speak better American English. This workshop will present an overview of the basics of speech production and acquisition in order to give tutors a better understanding of pronunciation, stress and intonation. An interactive and multimedia approach will be utilized to demonstrate techniques and provide strategies to be used with adult students.
