Raising Public Awareness about Adult Literacy
To raise public awareness about adult literacy and generate new resources for literacy programs, LVNJ participates in a broad range of coalitions, commissions and advisory councils at the state and national level. These include participation on the New Jersey State Council on Adult Literacy Education Services and the New Jersey Association for Lifelong Learning.

Annual Literacy For Life Conference
Each year in the Spring LVNJ holds a professional conference offering workshops for tutors, trainers, students and adult literacy professionals.  LVNJ also recognizes outstanding tutors, students and volunteers from throughout the state at this event.
